The Feathers Hotel
The Feathers Hotel has long been one of Britain’s most admired inns. Built in 1619 and converted into a hotel in 1670, it has welcomed guests for over 350 years and retains many of its original features, including intricate oak carvings, lattice windows, and its famous half-timbered façade. Today, it seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts, thanks to a £2.5 million refurbishment in 2019 by Crest Hotels Group.
