Classic Touring in Mid-Wales in aid of:- Hope House, Eden House and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices

Touring the most scenic mountain roads of Mid-Wales, venues en-route, lunch with sea view, coast drive, caves, lunch at mountain railway, “Going for Gold”, camaraderie, 4 star accommodation, entry is open to all Classic Saloons and Sportscars + modern Sportscars.

The Sporting Bears Motor Club event is a social tour aiming to raise £10,000 for 3 x Children’s Hospices. The 3rd occupant of each Car will be a teddy BEAR …… and the Challenge for each crew will be to obtain charity sponsorship for their Bear to complete the tour.

A packed event of two full days of driving and visiting places to interest en-route and three evenings of fine dining and socialising at The 4 star Metropole Hotel…… the finale party includes dancing to a zany 6 piece band.

SPECIAL GUEST ENTRY…. Barry “Whizzo” Williams….. back to the scene of his great RALLY WIN in this part of Mid-Wales in 1964.

Barry has confirmed that he will not be racing at Spa this September …. But will instead be taking part in the Hagerty SBMC Classic Challenge…. Both driving the route and also guest speaking after dinner. Barry will be entering his rally Mini Cooper ‘S’.
