Classic Bike Meeting & Function Venue

Non-existent traffic, open roads, beautiful Welsh scenery and a perfect meeting place to socialise. The Metropole provides the perfect base to dine and relax with plenty of parking for your motorbikes. We can reserve parking areas too on request. From here explore great roads such as the 365 run, a 55 mile stretch from Newtown to Llandovery which has a bend for every day of the year. The A44 is well known for dividing Wales into two from East to the beautiful shores of the West Welsh coast.

“On behalf of all our group, I wish to thank you and your staff for an excellent stay a The Metropole. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing weekend which started the moment we arrived at the hotel. All the members of you staff were very professional, polite and attentive, the food excellent and service in the restaurant was first class. We would very much like to book a return visit next year.”

We have received countless appreciative comments from those on the visit, for the provision of allocated parking for our bikes; for the welcoming and professional attitude of the hotel staff, especially on reception and in the bar; for the high quality rooms; for the delicious evening meal and breakfast (including the satisfying substantial portions!) and the efficient and accommodating restaurant staff; and finally, for the opportunity to relax and unwind in the spa. Thank you again for your time and attention to detail.”
